28º CONCURSO DE TOALLAS DE IMABARI
El objetivo de este concurso es Celebrar los 46 años de aniversario de Ciudades hermanas entre Ciudad de Panamá, República de Panamá y de la Ciudad de Imabari, Japón con la gran exposición de Diseños de Toallas Imabari, actividad organizada y patrocinada por la Asociación de la Industria de Toallas de Imabari y la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Imabari en Japón y a su vez mencionarles que este año 2024 , Panamá y Japón celebran el aniversario 120 del establecimiento de relaciones diplomáticas.
Este concurso se realizo el 12 de agosto del 2023 en el museo de Arte Contemporáneo en donde participaron 10 niñas y niños de ente 7 a 15 años.
Imabari es una ciudad ubicada en Japón muy conocida por la confección y diseños de Toallas Imabari, de ahí el nombre del concurso. El Concurso de dibujo de Toalla Imabari consiste en plasmar en un dibujo tema libre que represente la amistad entre la ciudad Imabari y Panamá.
Los invitados especiales son:
- Su Excelencia Hideo Fukushima – Embajador del Japón en Panamá.
- Licenciado Jorge Lopez – Secretario General Alcaldía de Panamá (representación del Sr. Alcalde).
- Señor Makoto Kanagawa quien es el Representante Residente de la Agencia de Cooperación Internacional de Japón (JICA Panamá).
- Licenciado Genaro Villalaz – Director de Cultura y Educación Ciudadana de la Alcaldía de Panamá.
